Today the role of school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever-changing global society. At Pius Memorial High School we provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaced development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic student-centric environment. Since its inception, Pius Memorial High School has endeavored to transcend learning beyond boundaries. We are devoted to set bench marks in nurturing children to grow into strong, matured, kind and intelligent adults, who are original in their ideas and decisive in their actions.
Dear students, it is my message to you all that the people of fine character live by their values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness in word and deed. True character thus encompasses the capacity for self-discipline.
Character creates self-respect, which in turn leads to high self-esteem. Maturity is reflected in all aspects of character –the decision we make, the friends we choose and the responsibilities we accept. Always remember to uphold the dignity of people. Be always ready to give preference to other. What you are is God’s gift to you. What you become is your gift to God. Have something to live for. Bring out the best in you.
Keeping in mind that to teach is to touch a life forever, we believe in holistic education that encompasses academic, co-curricular activities, sports education and life skills learning. The campus, sports and academic facilities all bear testimony to this belief. As we venture ahead and spread our wings in this spectacular valley of value based education our endeavor is to strike a balance between state-of-the art infrastructure and robust curriculum that opens the door of global platform for our peace loving and problem- solving students. Activities and events related to value education, environment, health education, games and sports, visual and performing arts, culture and heritage, personality development are effectively woven into the main fabric of school curriculum.
Also parents are the primary educators of children, but as the child starts schooling, we must devote ourselves to shoulder the responsibility together. As principal I would like to personally welcome you to our Pius Memorial School family.
